QR matches are scored by points.
DE matches are scored by games (w/l/t). If, after 5 games, each team has won the same amount of games, a sixth tiebreaker game is played to determine the winner of the match. The tiebreaker for every DE match is The Desert Between Your Ears, Flag Rally, 12 minutes. Points in the DE rounds are used only to determine exit seeds, not the winner of the match. Scoring for every map has an 80 point max differential.
For games marked as allies, both teams split up into two sub-squads which ally with each other when the game commences.
In general, allies scoring rules are difficult. But because there is only one map which uses allies in MWC10, its specific rules will be explained here. For Venice Allies Territories, whichever team has the most flags between their two squads wins the game. That is, scoring is cumulative, so a team that has a squad which places first in perm is not guaranteed victory. |
