Myth 2 Soulblighter - MWC 2010 - Fallback System
Teams must choose a time zone (region). Fallback times for matches are assigned based on the time zone choices of the two teams. Be sure to tell your team when to show up.

Note that bottom bracket elimination matches will ALWAYS have their fallback on Friday, 8pm EDT.

Also note that you can always reschedule matches with your opponents. These times are still fallback times, to be used if you cannot come to an agreement.

Below is the fallback time chart. Consider the options carefully, as this option will be locked shortly after the tournament begins.

If you choose America...
...and you play a team from America: Sunday, 4pm EDT
...and you play a team from Europe: Sunday, 3pm EDT
...and you play a team from Japan/Australia: Saturday, 8pm EDT

If you choose Europe...
...and you play a team from America: Sunday, 3pm EDT
...and you play a team from Europe: Sunday, 1pm EDT
...and you play a team from Japan/Australia: Sunday, 8am EDT

If you choose Japan/Australia...

Playing Matches
MWC10 is a 6v6 tournament like MWC09. However, if both teams agree, then a team may play with 7 players.

If a team is not ready to play 20 minutes after the agreed to match time, then the opposing team may claim a forfeit victory.

QR matches are three games each. Ties need not be settled because no teams are eliminated in the QR.

To win a DE match your team has to win more games than your opponent; points do not determine the winner of the match in DE. If after 5 games the game score is tied, a tiebreaker is played. The tiebreaker for every DE match is The Desert Between Your Ears, Flag Rally, 12 minutes. Even though points do not determine the winner of a match, DE matches are still scored and points determine exit seeds, which settle the difference between 5th and 6th places and down.

After a match ends, the winning team will be responsible for uploading ALL the films, not just the games they won, and posting a link to them on the forums.
